Fall has gone by in a blink of an eye. I was really fortunate this year because the past three months in NY actually felt like fall instad of winter! I've also been lucky enough to travel to Miami and Punta Cana to escape the cold (travel diary posts coming up soon!) and lucky to have Mattia visit me for all of November. I've had a variety of favorites the past three months, so here we are! :)
BP 'TROLLEY' BOOTIES I bought these last year and I bust them out every time the weather gets a little chilly. I've been pretty much wearing them non-stop this entire fall, since they go with everything. I love the soft leather and love how comfortable they are! They're the perfect height and extremely sturdy. I've even walked around Paris in them for a full day!
ASOS GREY BLANKET SCARF I love this cozy scarf. It's a pretty grey color and lightweight, especially for knit. It's warm, but not too warm, and I love how on train/plane rides, it doubles as my blanket.
SCARF HANGER I've collected a quite a bit of scarves over the years, and for the most part they were sitting in my bedside drawer. A lot of them weren't get much use since they weren't visible. This scarf hanger lets to hang them in my closet, so that they're organized but also visible so I can get the most use out of them.
JCREW JACKET I've been wearing this versatile, chic but comfortable wool jacket non-stop. It's all over my Instagram and I'm hoping that it's warm enough for winter because I'm planning on wearing it everyday during the colder months too.
CHAMPION SPORTS BRA I usually dislike sports bras with removable padding because they always fall out or get ruined when you run them through the laundry. I also don't like sports bras without any padding because I feel like it doesn't provide enough coverage. I love this Champion sports bra because it provides slight built-in padding that's enough coverage without feeling weighed down. The white color + shape is also a big pretty plus!
DIRT DEVIL VACUUM I was looking for an affordable yet powerful bagless vacuum, and this one ended up being awesome. It's light and picks up all the dirt you need. It also has the tools you need to get those hard to reach corners.
ISO-COOL MEMORY FOAM PILLOW I invested in this pillow for about a year now, and I've recently realized how amazing it is. I don't always enjoy the pillows in my hotel rooms and my neck gets pains after sleeping at awkward angle on trains/planes, but a night on this pillow makes my neck feel awesome.
TV SHOW FIXER UPPER My friend Sher from Sher She Goes caught wind of my HGTV addiction and suggested this show to me. It's now my absolute favorite. I think Chip & Joanna Gaines' family is super cute (they live on a farm, have goats, chickens, puppies, cats in addition to their four adorable kids) and they do AMAZING home renovations. I'm absolutely obsessed with Joanna's rustic chic style, she always does such beautiful work. You can watch Fixer Upper on Netflix (only season 1 so far), on the HGTV website, and on Amazon Instant Video.
TV SHOW SHARK TANK My boyfriend Mattia has been visiting New York for all of November and we've been watching this together. It's fun to argue loudly about whether or not the companies will get funded, or get outraged when a company does get funded when we didn't think it deserved to. We always laugh together at Kevin O'Leary's mean/evil but sadly true comments, stories, analogies.
NEST HOLIDAY SCENTED CANDLE I never really bought into the candle craze until this year. I never really thought they were worth the money, but I've converted. It's so relaxing to have a room smell warm and lovely after a cold day spent outside. I love how this Nest one looks and smells.
HOUSE OF HARLOW EARRINGS I discovered this brand on Rocksbox after my stylist sent them to me. I kept this pair because I loved how it was so simple yet slightly edgy and chic at the same time. These pretty much go with anything and add a subtle edge to your look. I love triangle-shaped jewelry, so I've also fallen for House of Harlow's Tessellation shape. (If you want a free month of Rocksbox, use the code 'joycebff43' to sign up!)
BOUQS My friend randomly sent me a bouquet from Bouqs a few weeks back. It was a sweet and anonymous gesture and had me happily mistaken that I had a secret admirer. This company has beautiful, sustainable blooms that come from a volcano! These blooms also last a lot longer than the ones you can pick up from the store in person, since it's shipped directly from their volcano farms to you. I think their price point is awesome for the quality of the blooms you receive.
INSTAGRAM @ONEKINGSLANE Maybe influenced by my recent HGTV obsession, but I've really been enjoying One King Lane's inspirational posts for a beautiful home. Plus, they're doing 24 days of giveaways in December! Check out their instagram to see how to be entered.
