July was one of my favorite months of 2016. Mattia and I spent 3 weeks traveling in Italy, Spain, and Portugal (more to come on the blog--can't wait to share with you all!) It was 3 weeks of amazing seafood, getting way too dark from the constant sunshine, and jumping into beaches.
CHOSUNGAH LIP TINT This summer I'm really loving the popsicle-stained lips. It's bright and low-maintenance, and was perfect for all the beaches, boats, and pools this month. I found Chosungah on a random Sephora run and fell in love with how bright and lasting it was. It instantly stains your lips (no more corpse lips!) Sometimes the colors can be a little too strong, so I usually apply a light layer and wipe away with a tissue. The colors slightly fades throughout the day to a very naturally beautiful lip color. The formula is also pretty hydrating, which is a must-have since I have extremely dry lips. PS - I really don't like the lip gloss, but I ignore that half of the tube.
FOREVER21 BIKINI Found this while shopping for vacation looks a while back but finally took it for a swim in Spain. The tropical print is bright and gorgeous, and the straps make the bikini really unique. I brought 5 other pairs with me on the trip, but this one got the most wears.
CALPAK DAVIS PINK CARRY-ON I lugged this carry-on all throughout Europe and always got compliments. It's bright and pretty, but also very functional. Out of all the four-wheeled suitcases I've used, it's definitely the most smooth to roll around. Plus, I always spot it instantly on the carousel.
CHEF'S TABLE Mattia introduced me to this show on night in Italy and I stayed up until 3 AM eating it up. In each episode, this Netfilx show goes into the back story of a famous, michelin-rated chef and talks about how they became a chef and opened their own restaurants. I love hearing about the inspiration and philosophy behind each chef and each dish they create. So far, my favorites are Massimo Bottura and Francis Mallmann.
