After making a quick stop in Venice, Mattia and I made our way to his hometown, San Nicolo di Comelico. I always love reuniting with Tyson, the happiest and goofiest dog in the world. He has a lot of energy so we spend our days hiking and soaking the gorgeous mountain views. It's almost a tradition now to make it up to Monte Zovo, which is in Comelico and is about a 2-3 hour round-trip hike. If you ever visit, be sure to put climb to the peak and take in the amazing view of the Dolomites!
The next day we ventured out to Lago di Sorapis, a beautiful turquoise lake. The colors are absolutely unreal. The 2-hour hike there hosts stunning views of the Dolomites. It was a pretty hot day when Mattia and I went, so Tyson kept overheating and stopping in the middle of the road, blocking people from both sides from continuing on with their hike. Tyson's pretty bulky in muscle, but most onlookers mistook it for fat and kept commenting things like, "Poor chubby dog, finally getting his exercise". When we finally arrived, he was super excited to jump in the lake and wasted no time creating a muddy little area for himself.
